Shams has over 20 years of practical office experience in a variety of sectors working on large scale projects nationwide.
Shams spent over a decade working in London with one of the most prestigious residential development companies in the United Kingdom. This allowed him to work and project manage a number of large scale residential and office developments nationally and internationally.

Hamaad Anwar - BA (Hons) Arch, M(Arch), ADPPA ARB
Director / Chartered Architect
Hamaad has over 15 years of project management experience working on projects from £300k - £25m in a variety of sectors on a national level. Hamaad is an ARB registered Chartered Architect.
More recently a Director at a practice based in Preston working on a number of large mixed use developments nationally. Hamaad has a speciality in commercial and industrial architectural design.

About Us
ANW Architects Ltd was formed by Hamaad Anwar and Shams-Ul Alam in 2021, bringing together over 35 years of experience in a variety of different sectors. This includes commercial, industrial, automotive, retail and residential architecture, with projects nationwide.
ANW Architects Ltd are ARB registered and work in a variety of sectors providing Architectural Services from inception to completion.
We have a number of private residential clients as well as commercial clients.
We provide full design services and submit planning and building regulation applications on behalf of our clients.
Our customers are predominantly private individuals looking for our services to assist with extensions and new builds to both residential and commercial properties.
The Office is based in Burnley, Lancashire. The M65 motorway links to the M6 and M61 allowing us to work on a national level.
No project is too big or too small, we have a qualified team on hand to assist with project delivery.
Careers
There are currently two full time directors at the practice, helping the practice move forward on a daily basis.
The practice employs architects, architectural technologists, architectural technicians, architectural assistants [part I, part II and part III], trainees and apprentices on a full and part time basis.
